If you are only operating at minimal requirements, your body will, at best, be able to sustain with what is in your stomach and won't need to run to your reserve tank or your fat cells. In worse case scenario, your body will even be able to store what's left in your stomach as fat. Now, if you were able to up your metabolism to a point where your body is forced to tap into that storage just to get you through the day without shutting down, you will experience weight loss.

Now, this doesn't require nearly as much focus on your diet as building muscle does; however, it is just as time consuming. Don't get me wrong, everyone should exercise. Its simply good fitness, but if you are doing it just to lose weight, well, how many people, just like you, have failed in doing this? You get my point?

The logical thinking behind exercise is if one would go to the gym for an hour and burn calories then one should lose weight. In a perfect world this works. The problem with this theory is this isn't a perfect world and one can't possibly burn enough calories to even justify one meal for the day! I'll give you an example: If you eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you will consume over 300 calories. If you workout in the gym for an hour at high intensity, you will burn a whooping 400 calories! All that work for a measly 100-calorie deficit? Now, what happens when you get home? You eat! Why, because at this point you are starving and your body is yelling at you to replenish it. So much for that theory. While, exercising does work, it will take you a few years to reach your goal weight and that's if you are eating clean while exercising.

Let's face facts. There is nothing wrong with either of these roads, but why not get help to speed the process up a bit. Eating clean is easier when you don't desire the foods that make you fat. Exercising is easier when you are motivated and energetic to do so. Your metabolism will idle at a higher RPM if you are in motion and motion, energy, craving control is all benefits of V3.
